The installation piece contains 20 clear neon tubes, paper strips, water, text and was subsequently built over a period of two weeks in collaboration with Espace Young European artists in an derelict military base in Porto, Portugal.
The Title: The Playfair code was taken from a specific cipher technique that was used in the First World War by the British soldiers. They took a local poem or a lullaby where they where based and translated the lyrics or the words into a specific code system.
